Welcome to the APICS Winnipeg Chapter Web site.
The privacy and protection of all consumer identifiable information is extremely important to us whether we have received this information directly from you or through a third party authorized by you. Our privacy policy has been drafted to comply with current standards regarding the protection of personal information. This policy is reviewed regularly and modified as necessary to satisfy legal requirements.

Personal Information
You can visit our site without registering or providing any personal information; however, to make a purchase, we collect information from you that is required to:

  • fullfill a registration request
  • confirm confirm registration
  • provide on-going service.

This information includes:

  • E-mail address
  • APICS membership ID number.

We may also combine your personal information with others to create summarized, non-personalized data. This general information about groups of customers is used to improve our products and services and develop new ones.

We may contract with other suppliers to provide services to assist us in fulfilling orders or administering our customers' accounts. They are given only the information necessary to perform such services. These organizations and their employees are also required to adhere to our privacy standards and to use information only to supply their service.

We do not sell or rent any information to a third party.

We do not share consumer data across any related or non-related companies for marketing purposes.

Updating this Policy
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to make changes to our privacy policy and information handling practices.

Any change affecting how consumer identifiable information is used requires the approval of our business partners - the financial institutions and software vendors. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.

We use industry standard technologies and established security procedures to ensure that your personal is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. We routinely assess new technology for protecting our customers' information as well as our own.

Any unprotected e-mail communication over the Internet is not confidential and subject to possible interception or loss. We recommend that you do not send confidential information such as account and credit card information to us by unsecured e-mail.

Our site does not use cookies to read or store data on your hard disk.

For each visitor to our Web site, we have a counter in place to track number of visits to our site.
